Parking and Transportation


All Faculty, Staff, Students and Visitors that visit any SHSU campus location are required to register their vehicle information, pay any applicable fee, and receive an electronic permit prior to parking.  Vehicle information includes the registered state license plate number, make, model, color, year and type of vehicle.

Huntsville Main Campus ePermits, University Plaza ePermits and The Woodlands Center ePermits are available for purchase at  Zone 1 areas, Resident parking, and SH Parking Garage spaces are controlled and only available through waitlist.  Please go to to view available waitlists, purchase parking, and manage your account.  If you choose to visit the office, please bring with you the following information:

1.  Your MySam ID

2.  Vehicle registration information to include make, model, color, year and state license plate number.

3.  Disabled Persons should bring their state issued placard, and license plate information in addition to the above listed information.

Woodlands Campus ePermits are available online at  This permit is only valid at The Woodlands Campus and is available at no charge.  University Plaza, located at 1 Financial Plaza, Huntsville, TX 77320, requires a parking ePermit for all faculty, staff, and students that park at that location.  The ePermit for University Plaza is free of charge and available to receive through the SHSU Parking Portal at  If you anticipate buying an ePermit for the Main Huntsville campus, you will not be required to get a TWC ePermit or University Plaza ePermit.

Press & Copy Center

For on-campus copying and printing, contact the Press & Copy Center.

Providing year-round service for University students, faculty, and staff. All types of black and white as well as color copying, binding, fax services, and printing services are offered to students and student organizations, from simple one color printed pieces to multicolor brochures.
